Chenxing Han

Chenxing Han is a leading author, speaker, and educator at the intersection of Buddhism and Asian America. Trained in Buddhist studies and chaplaincy, she is the author of Be the Refuge: Raising the Voices of Asian American Buddhists and one long listening: a memoir of grief, friendship, and spiritual care. As a founder of Roots and Refuge, May We Gather,  Listening to the Buddhists in Our Backyard, Chenxing strives to cultivate spaces for creative inquiry, spiritual kinship, and intergenerational learning.

Brother Pháp Lưu

Brother Pháp Lưu is a senior monastic dharma teacher at Deer Park Monastery. He helped start the Wake-Up movement, which brings mindfulness into schools, and is actively working with researchers to study the effects of Plum Village mindfulness practices on children. Brother Pháp Lưu has served as a monastic editor of several of Thích Nhất Hạnh's books, and has recently co-authored Hiking Zen. He offers Dharma talks in English, French, and Spanish.

Reverend Patti Nakai

Reverend Patti is a Jodo Shinshu emerita minister in the Higashi Honganji tradition, retired in 2023 from the Buddhist Temple of Chicago. She has been a pioneer woman in the North American Buddhist ministry and a social justice leader.
